Goettl Believes in a Condition to Serve

Goettl Air Conditioning and The Sunny Plumber believe in service, but also to serve, as was the case with a seventy-year-old. Jim Siler was a humble man, but because of hardship his home had no air conditioning. In addition the water supplied to his house was not operating correctly. His poignant plumbing circumstance caused Jim Siler to do whatever he could to cope, he was convinced no one would care or help. A water line broke beneath his home causing a large amount of water to collect underneath the floors.

As anyone can guess, the bill to fix the problem was extensive. Jim Siler, as a senior citizen, being on a tiny income did not have the money to invest in a major plumbing restoration job, so the work could not be done. Consequently, he had to come to terms with the fact he would just have to make-do. But troubles were to befall him again, when his air conditioning stopped working. Again, the best he could do was open his house to the elements, all doors and windows were open wide. This wouldn’t be so bad if one lived up north, but Jim Siler lived in Las Vegas where temperatures reach in the high one-hundred degrees and he didn’t know about Goettl… Yet. This is compounded by the fact Jim Siler suffered from a stroke, and also took cancer treatments.

Now, all this would have gone on, and no one would have noticed, except for intervention. The Clark County Social Services department told Mr. Siler to try The Sunny Plumber and Goettl Air Conditioning for assistance. Surprising, together with some Bishop Gorman football teammates help was on the way.

The Sunny Plumber and Goettl Air Conditioning as humanitarian-orientated companies fixed Mr. Siler’s home. This was a magnanimous gesture, but a lot of the praise goes to Ken Goodrich the owner of Goettl Air Conditioning and The Sunny Plumber. Duncan Goodrich, who plays on the football team, says he is proud of his dad. Ken Goodrich is a man of honor, and considers personal service to his neighbors a duty one must do as a gentlemen. His employees also, should be recognized, for they volunteered their time and energies to the task.

All the volunteer labor was admirable, but Ken Goodrich, through his companies up-fronted eight-thousand dollars for the repairs. This amount of money is enormous, so one thing to be sure, The Sunny Plumber and Goettl Air Conditioning are amazing for their belief in a condition to serve.

The best air conditioning tips for pets: Goettl AC

The Las Vegas-based Goettl Air Conditioning company is encouraging local occupants to prepare to protect their pets through the mid year environmental conditions.

Below are some tips to keep pets protected during the hot seasons:

1) keep all paws off the asphalt.

Any black top area will likely be hotter than it looks. The American Veterinary Medical Association has been encouraging pet owners to stay off hot surfaces through the mid year as pet paws can get burned easily. If it becomes too unbearable to walk on hot concrete and asphalt without overheating or burning, consider taking walks in he morning or late at night.

2) Always consider applying sunscreen before going outside on a hot day.

Any pets with a light fur coat are likely to burn much faster than humans and other dogs. To beat the heat, apply a pet-safe sunscreen to your pet’s face at least half an hour before outside movement.

3) Make sure you and your pet have lots of water.

Pets are not able to sweat or naturally cool of as much as humans can. It’s harder for them to keep cool amid the mid year. The Humane Society of the United States preaches how important it is to have crisp, cool water and shady spots to stop and rest at when the temperature get really hot. Always be on the lookout for dehydration or overheating

5) Invest in a dog pool!

Who would not enjoy a pool? Dogs love pools just as much as humans. Small dog pools keep pets cool. A pool can be a pooch’s new most loved toy.

6) Watch out for car leaks.

The hot temperatures can be just damaging to cars as they are to pets and humans. Summer heat can crack a radiator and cause fluids to leak from overheating autos. The damaged radiator will leave stains on driveways and grassy areas. If there is an auto spill, keep pets as far away as possible. Certain chemicals will be dangerous to the pets health.

Goettl Air Conditioning was started by Gust and Adam Goettl in 1939 and then moved to the Las Vegas Valley in 1968. Fellow businesses man Ken Goodrich acquired the Arizona organization in 2013. Three years later in April he opened a branch office in the place where he grew up of Las Vegas, where his affection for the Goettl item initially started. The company continues to work hard to provide cool and comfortable living conditions for humans and pets.

Six Points for Getting the Most Out of Your Air Conditioning this Summer

I recently read a great article by KNTV, Channel 13 Action News. They had interviewed
Ken Goodrich, owner of Goettl Air Conditioning. Ken was providing information to make our air conditioning most effective this summer. There were a few things, I didn’t know, but I will certainly put into place.
Since I was new to such a warm climate, I had never owned a home with central air conditioner before. I didn’t know that I had to have regular service on the unit. According to the Energy Star Program, I should have it maintained at least twice a year, once in the Spring and again in the Fall.
I also wasn’t aware that I needed to check the filters regularly. Mr. Goodrich from Goettl states that if the filters are obstructed it interferes with the airflow and makes the whole process less effective.
Other suggestions were good reminders of things I already knew like closing drapes and shades in the heat of the day. Limiting the use of ovens, dryers and dishwashers or other appliances during the hottest part of the day.
Overall, it was a very helpful article with import reminders of the aspects that are needed to keep cool during the hot summer.
