Helping Agriculture With Global Warming

These days we hear so much about climate change and we wonder how this affects agriculture. Some farmers are being helped to become resilient to climate change through their livestock. It is said that livestock plays a key roll in climate change. This happens because of their waste and the food that they eat . This helps to provide a rich soil . Farmers become more resilient and resistant to the drought which has happened in Asia and Africa. But it is necessary that the farmer be taught to care for his livestock in a healthy manner..

He needs to be learn to return the livestock’s waste to the soil to make the soil rich. The soil is then resilient and able to capture the water which is so crucial to the crops. This way the water is retained and does not run off.

All farms need to be able to grow food in highly fertile soil.which is abundant.Using organic agriculture can help against global warming. This is beneficial to global warming because It takes away 7,000 pounds of carbon dioxide from the air. This is then stored in the soil which helps in drought years to increase yield by keeping water in the soil.

Some agriculture experts think that the smart farmer of the future will not produce greenhouse emissions the way industrial chemical farming does. Instead , the real farmers of the future will nurture their soils. They will use such techniques as advanced crop rotation, inter-cropping, amendments and animal grazing. Another way we can help with global warming is by using another way to grow our crops. By managing the soil organically we can change carbon from a greenhouse gas to a food producing asset. If this was accomplished , it would be like taking one car off the road for every two acres that are under organic management.By helping the soil to keep water we can help global warming. We need to implement scientifically researched and practical farming methods which will emanate less global warming and become an inhibitor. Implementing this new technology does not need an expensive investment. It is a regenerative organic agricultural practices. . This may be a solution adopted in every country in the world.
