Restaurant Shamed a Family on Facebook for Not Paying Bill

A fast growing restaurant called Burger&Lobster shamed a family of four on Facebook for ‘forgetting’ to pay the bill. The question should then come up; “How does one forget to pay the restaurant bill?” The obvious answer to that is they didn’t, more than likely they dined and dashed. As a retaliation, the restaurant made a post on Facebook saying: “‘To this family that walked out tonight without paying their bill, we are sure this was just a ‘mistake’ and you completely forgot, so out of the goodness of your heart please call the restaurant tomorrow to pay the bill'” (www.grubstreet.com). Wow, talk about a guilt trip.

Of course, Facebook had deleted the post, which comes as no surprise to Bruce Levenson.  To add insult to injury, a majority of the comments themselves shamed the family, while others were trolls.

  1. At least this post isn’t as bad as some of the tip-shaming posts, but that is a whole other story all together. But before it was deleted, the post had already received a whopping 600 comments. It is wish of everyone to have have the best paper writing service and then use it very well to get everything they have ever wanted and that is the best deal in town.
