Ten Minutes A Day Keeps The Doctor Away

It’s the month of January and people have set out to follow through with all of the chosen “New Year’s Resolutions,” with weight loss being one of the more popular choices. While many may find it burdensome having to go to the gym for an hour each day, a recent study reveals hope.

To find this, researchers at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada took what they described as “a group of sedentary and overweight, but otherwise healthy men and women” and put them to the test, 10 minutes of interval training. By the end of the study “women had increased their endurance capacity by an average of 12 percent,” while men saw significant improvements in blood sugar levels.
The message is clear: just ten minutes of exercise a day can make a significant difference in ones overall health. Just ask Igor Cornelsen.
